WHAT WE KNOW
Gunnar Cyrén (1931–2013) was a Swedish designer and glassblower best known for his work with Orrefors, but his silver-plated animal figurines produced for Dansk in the 1970s have become highly sought-after collectibles in their own right. The toucan form is one of the most distinctive in the series — the bold beak and compact body translate exceptionally well into the minimalist silver-plate treatment.
